Dear Experts ,,,,,,,
I want to know that there is any method / trick for receive a below the horizon c band satellite...... I just far 50 km. from last beam ....& my elevation angle -0.44 Plz help me............ |

If you can find a very high mountain with east side is clear from obstacles. You can try.

with refraction from the Troposphere some times you may be able to receive.
but it will highly dependent on the condition of the Troposphere. Another problum is when elevation is such low the interference from terrestrial microwave links are very high. |

I feel, with circular polarity signals, there is some chance.....
why, bcoz.... of the beam shape.... I ve noticed, with circular polarity, the elevation has a greater margin.... I mean, even if one is off target, still d signal comes... doesn't happen that much in c band signal or wid ku band signal, it has to be very precise... theres no margin... so try wid any circular polarity satellite, but yes, it shud be close.... to being BTH |
