Asus today announced the VivoBook 4K, a laptop that is said to deliver 4K/UHD (ultra-high-definition) visuals with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It will be available in Icicle Gold, Glacier Grey, Black, and Navy Blue colour variants. In terms of features, the VivoBook 4K has an IPS display with wide 178 degree viewing angles and a wide 72 percent NTSC, 100 percent RGB color gamut for vivid colors. It also features ASUS Eye Care mode which is said to reduce blue-light levels by 33 percent. According to Asus, the VivoBook 4K can be specified with a 5th- or 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM (expandable to 12GB), and NVIDIA GeForce 940M graphics. Users can choose between up to 2TB of hard drive storage or upgrade to a SSD.
