Reliance digital tv stopped satellite signals. now no service
Antrix Corporation already disconnected thier transponder service to Reliance Digital TV because of non payment .....
https://youtu.be/iHDJ1n7_vyE In a major setback for Reliance Big TV (RBTV), the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has withdrawn the interim protection granted to the direct to home (DTH) operator by allowing broadcasters to disconnect signals for non-payment of dues. The TDSAT order will worsen the situation for the DTH operator which is already facing the threat of disconnection of transponder service by Antrix Corporation should it fail to renew the agreement before 14 April and clear the pending dues. As if the threat by Antrix was not enough, three broadcasters namely Star India, ZEEL, and Sun TV Network have already disconnected signals to the DTH operator as it has failed to the clear the outstanding dues which have been piling up month after month. The tribunal’s order means that other broadcasters who are tagged in the matter can disconnect signals to Reliance Big TV in the light of the withdrawal of the interim protection. Apart from Star, ZEEL, and Sun TV, the other broadcasters involved in the matter include Discovery Communications India, Sony Pictures Networks Distribution India, India Cast Media Distribution, ABP News Network, and Bennett Coleman & Company Ltd (BCCL). |
