St Francis D'Assisi managed just 92 in their first innings. The previous highest score by an Indian in any cricket was 515 by Dadabhoy Havewala for BB and CI Railway vs St Xavier's College at Bombay during 1933/34 season. ALSO SEE Shaw ecstatic after playing a record innings His father told CNN-IBN, "Stats speak about themselves, it is easy to talk but he has performed well. We can only talk to him and make him understand to stay longer at the crease but he has to perform in the middle and he did this. He has a great talent and this is his last season for the school and he is the captain, so he knows his responsibilities. I have never asked him to play for the records." http://ibnlive.in.com/news/cricketnext/1...27-78.html |
