My little experience
Now I am presenting my little knowledge here about LED and LCD TV... There is no difference in panel. Two are same. Two displays are LCD ( liquid crystal display).. but there is a small difference in back light. Back light for giving light for LCD display panel. In LCD TV back light producing from fluerent tubes. this type of tubes need high voltage for working. It's giving from an inverter circuit. The function same like emergency lantern . some tv has 3 U shaped very thin sized tubes. Some other have edge type.. two tubes one from top one bottom giving light for LCD . In LED TVs 5 or 6LED strip giving light. This is applicable for common LCD LED TV. Real LED TVs are available in market. But its highly expensive. Picture producing from LEDs. May be this thread helpful for new members.
