Virat Kohli loses No. 1 ODI spot to AB de Villiers
Dubai, Dec 12: South Africa captain AB de Villiers has replaced India's Virat Kohli as the top-ranked One Day International batsman in the latest ICC Rankings. Kohli is now pushed to second by De Villiers after the rankings were updated today. India lost the three-match ODI series to South Africa 0-2.
The final ODI was washed out in Centurion yesterday. Kohli did not have a good series as he scored 31 in two innings including a duck. De Villiers hit 189 from three innings. De Villiers struck a century yesterday in Centurion. The right-hander is now the top batsman in both ODIs and Tests. The South African has accumulated 872 rating points for the top spot in ODIs. Kohli is second with 859 while another South African Hashim Amla is third with 839. There are two other Indians in the top-10.
