My 6 feet dish help needed refurbishing
Hello All
I have just joined this forum need a little help in getting my 6 ft dish dish up and working. I was able to view channels from my favorite satellite 105.5 "c band" for a very long time. Off late I am not able to lock any channels and now it states no signal found ie the signal intensity shows aroud 93% but the signal quality is 1 %. am located in Chennai. I went to the terrace and found that the scalar ring is lightly damaged ie not able to hold the LNB in position and keeps moving off the screw that holds it. Went to Ritchie street and got a new scalar ring so I could fix the problem. The screws that holds the scalar ring to the dish is all rusted and not able to unscrew it with my star screwdriver. the dish fell once due to the heavy winds in my area. does this have any effect or it can be straightened out. The screws are rusted( ie: if i am able to remove the old scalar ring fully from the LNB I can fix the new one bought) as the dish is pretty old one. How do I get this thing sorted out. I need to fix the new scalar ring ( the old I am not able to be remove as the screws are fully rusted ) or is there a way to refurbish the dish (like u refurbish ur old sofa into a new one) or if some experts can help me address this issue. Please Help experts and my good friends |
