The India-Pakistan match i ICC World Cup 2015 is sai to have generated the highes viewership across channels o 288 million viewers. It als scored high in terms of ad revenues. Th match is expected to have generated total of approximately Rs.100-110 cror in advertising revenues according t media planners. The match which sa the Indian team maintain its record o winning against Pakistan in World Cup saw a total of 93 brands on board acros the Star Network. Also there were othe brands which were on board as sponsor on the Doordarshan feed. Ad rates for the India-Pakistan match i particular were as high as Rs.25 lakh pe 10-second spot for the standard feed (SD), while was estimated to b Rs.16-18 lakh per 10-second spot for th HD feed (India-Pak match ad rate estimated at Rs 25 lakh per spot: Is it viabl for marketers? ). Regional feed rates ar around Rs.1.25 lakh per 10-second spo for the tournament. It could be higher fo this match in particular. Some media planners estimate th standard feed of Star Network to hav brought more than half of the estimate revenue (Rs.45-50 crore), while the res of the revenue is estimated to have com through the HD and regional feeds an also from the DD feed. Prior to th match some media reports had pegge this match to garner Rs.40 crore in a revenues for Star India.
